SUMMARY

The State Program Manager serves as the primary contact for state-level accounts, managing the entire client life-cycle from enrollment to onboarding to renewal. The State Program Manager works to ensure a deep level of adoption within each eligible district by providing implementation consultations, product training, monthly usage reviews, and ongoing support for both teachers and administrators.

RESPONSIBILITIES

External

  • Works directly with customers to create customized implementation plans, drive usage of Learning.com solutions, and ensure that product training needs of the customer are met including:
    • Works with the customer to develop a written implementation plan that provides the customer with a clear implementation guidance as well as agreed upon milestones and deliverables
    • Checks with customers on a regular and consistent basis to ensure effective continuation of implementation and usage of all purchased products.
  • Organizes and delivers regional and school specific product trainings, demonstrations, webinars, consultations, and presentations to educators and/or administrators for the suite of Learning.com solutions
  • Coordinates with Customer Support team to assist with SIS sync, data imports, technical and implementation support for customers
  • Works directly with customers onsite and virtually, through email, phone, and other methods to identify and resolve implementation issues
  • Compiles data regarding customer issues and determines appropriate actions and interventions based upon usage data, internal and customer feedback
  • Supports Senior VP of Business Development in onsite and web meetings with external stakeholders through data reports, district updates, and overall health metrics of the program
  • Identifies and pursues upsell opportunities at a district level and a state level

Internal

  • Acts as a point of contact for customer status, health, and satisfaction for assigned state, communicates customer status regularly to internal stakeholders
  • Records all trainings in CRM with appropriate workshop session summary (contact, date, number of participants, overall synopsis)
  • Maintains constant, consistent, well-documented communication with internal departments as necessary
  • Coordinates and collaborates with Marketing team on statewide, regional and local conferences
  • Develops and utilizes repeatable processes for use of Learning.com products, and improves these processes over time
  • Documents all customer contact according to company process
  • Functions as "expert" within department on specific products and services
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Individual contributor

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in education, communication, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience delivering training and/or supporting users with online software/services
  • Strong understanding of technology, especially as it relates to education and instruction
  • Strong understanding of instructional and educational theories and practices
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent writing, speaking, presentation and teaching skills
  • Excellent customer relations skills
  • Willingness to travel (varies by quarter, less than 35% of time on average)
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a cross-departmental team
  • 5+ years K-8 teaching experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of how to read and analyze current national and state education standards (ex: ISTE, CSTA, TEKS) preferred
  • Strong understanding of Learning.com products a plus
